Calex develops custom solutions to manage any wellhead repair need. We have successfully restored internal bore sealing surfaces of a wellhead by machining and removing damaged material. Our custom software is paired with corresponding hardware and machining capabilities to provide wellhead repairing services that can be configured for each specific case.

Caltex designs custom Wellhead Remediation Tools (WRT) to address damaged areas and install new seals. The WRT effectively resolves sealing surface impairments and various other issues. Our unique process starts with problem assessment, followed by 3D model virtual design, test unit development, simulation, and ultimately deployment.

Custom software is designed for each application, enabling operators to remotely control the Wellhead Remediation machine with precision. This allows for the repair of isolation sealing sleeve surfaces, as well as the VX and FX profiles.
